Well guys, this is it! Our new website! A HUGE THANK YOU to Mike Synder and Gigabyte IT for there hard work putting this together. It’s not that we didn’t love our old page but we needed more room. We have grown and needed some separation to make things easy for all of our followers to see. Take a look around…
Our BIG NEWS is the research project with Dr. Jensen and her team at Children’s Hospital of Boston! In an effort to help stop the seizures for Harper and others affected with CDKL5 we sought out a world renowned Epileptologist who’s spent her career focused on early life seizures with particular attention to age-specific mechanisms and the effect of seizures on brain development and cognition. The goal of this project is to find a way to better control seizures as well as improve the cognitive outcome in the CDKL5 population. Moreover, this project could very well lead to a better source of control for Epilepsy in general regardless of its cause. This project is set to start in January and will cost a total of $200K, of which half is due in 100 days, with the remaining $100K due in December 2012. All money donated to this project through The Children’s Hospital of Boston is tax deductible. Please see our CHB Project or Donation section for more detail on how to contribute.
Please help us help Harper raise her $100K in 100 Days! Share her story…..
