It is interesting the moments in time that vividly remain in our hearts.  Two years ago Easter was on April 4th and we anxiously awaited Harper’s arrival as she had until the 12th to come on her own.  Well, her birthday is  April 12th and not by her choice! 😉  As significant as her birthday of April 12th is I will never forget Easter April 4th 2010 either!

There are significant moments in time when your life changes and you can never change it back.  Having a child is one of those moments.  Having one that is special needs is not one anyone excepts, grandparents and parents alike.  Not only does it change your life but your family dynamic as a whole.   Thanks to Harper, our family has a new found  sense of hope!  Hope is no longer a desire but rather a confident expectation and sure certainty.  This intangible feeling has now become real!  With your help we will continue to “Make Hope Real” for Harper and others like her.

We will celebrate Harper’s Birthday next week!  Please see our event section for details on this celebration all are invited to take part in.  For today we celebrate Moe Moe’s birthday!  Happy Birthday Moe Moe,  Thank You for taking such good care of me EVERY STINKIN DAY!  Happy Birthday to my Granny tomorrow, April 7th! and Happy Good Friday to everyone else!

Good Friday leads us to EASTER SUNDAY.  Today is the day Jesus died on the cross in human form and a day of prayer and the final day of fasting for the lent season.  Easter is the Resurrection!  Most of us celebrate Easter with egg hunts and easter bunny baskets of goodies.  It is said that the reason we hunt eggs is because the easter bunny dropped the eggs on the way to deliver them and so we must find those eggs he dropped.  “Thought to Ponder: The nice thing about being senile would be you can hide your own Easter eggs!”(HolidayInsight)  HAPPY EASTER!!!
