Zero is big
During Harper’s second week using HempMedsPx high-CBD hemp oil we documented ZERO seizures! Oh what a joyous week that was!! From September 23rd through September 29th Harper enjoyed an entire week seizure-free, and we couldn’t have been happier!
What does a week of no seizures get us?
Sadly, on September 30th Harper did have one seizure. Still, we were not discouraged as CDKL5 kids are very sensitive. After all, we had just gotten back from that very busy Philadelphia trip, and we were all making the change back to Texas time. Harper had some unexpected constipation occur and we were working to get a handle on that as it can quickly affect the health of a child with CDKL5.
Then October came…
Yesterday and today Harper had four seizures. 🙁 We are adjusting Harper’s hemp oil dosage in hopes of regaining the control we had at week two.
It’s important to know the four seizures per day is significantly less than the 10 to more than 13 per day we were documenting prior to Harper starting hemp oil therapy. AND it’s ONLY WEEK TWO so it’s still a work in progress!
